APC C'River Northern Leaders To Hold Comprehensive Caucus Meeting March 2

The Cross River State Northern leaders of the All Progressives Congress have unveiled an all encompassing caucus members meeting scheduled to hold on the 2nd of March, 2025 at the Landmark Hotel in Ogoja LGA by 2pm. 


The event which has been tagged 'Northern Cross River Coalition', will also feature an inaugural meeting of the party's Central Working Committee.


The Northern Coalition has the State party Chairman, Barr. Alphonsus Ogah Ebar as an Adviser, while High Chief Higgins Peter is sitting as the Leader.



On his part, Ntufam Fidelis Ugbo (Obanliku) shall be the Board of Trustees Chairman, whereas Chief Peter Ojie (Ogoja) is the BOT deputy Chairman and Mr. Odey Ochicha (Bekwarra) is penned as the Board's Secretary. 


On the other hand, both Chief Eugene Akeh(Obudu) and Dr. Julius Okputu (Yala) shall serve as members of tgw board.

As it concerns the Central Working Committee, Hon. Legor Idagbor, shall be the Chairman and Senator Dr. Stephen Adie Odey resting in the position of Alternate Chairman, while Hon. Jude Ngaji shall be the CMC Vice Chairman


Other key stakeholders penned down to attend the event are: Chief Timmy-Tom Udam, Hon. Martin Orim, Hon. Henry Onwe, Prof. Magnus Anya, CP Gabriel Achong, Chief Goddy Iyala, as well as Hon. Austin Agba.

Others are, Hon Linus Obogo, Barr. Dan Iyo, Hon. Mike Odere, Rt. Hon Ogana Lukpata, Chief Uno Inaku, Hon. (Mrs) Stella Odey, Hon. Emmanuel Ishabor, Chief Mattias Ake, Chief Tony Undiandeye, Hon. Chief Signor Omang Idiege, Mrs Margaret Inde and a whole lots of others.

Though the Central purpose of the meeting has not been let out as at the time of this report, however, there are insinuation that is may not be unconnected to the party trying to mend all fences and put it's house together ahead of 2027 general elections.

Breaking : Rev. Uma Ukpai Is Dead

By Efa Sunday  The family of renowned international evangelist and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, has officially announced his passing.  According to a statement released on Monday, signed by the family and titled “Glorious Transition,” Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai passed on to glory on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80.  The family described him as “a faithful soldier of the cross” who dedicated over six decades of his life to fiery evangelism, dynamic teaching of the Word, and prophetic demonstrations of the power of God.    The statement added that his ministry impacted millions of lives and transformed destinies both within Nigeria and around the world.    The statement reads below: “With hearts full of gratitude, we celebrate the triumphant homegoing of Rev.
