The Cocoa Association of Nigeria (CAN), Cross River State Chapter, paid a condolence visit to Hon. Oden Ewa, the Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations in Cross River State in his residence, to express their heartfelt sympathy following the loss of his father.

The association's leadership led by the Chairman, Mr Bobua Paschal Kejie conveyed their condolences to Hon. Ewa and his family during this challenging time. This visit reflects the strength of relationship between State's cocoa industry and stakeholders, as much as it also demonstrates their commitment to standing by each other beyond professional engagements.



Hon. Oden Ewa, who has been instrumental in advancing the state's agricultural policies expressed his gratitude for the association's thoughtful visit.

By Efa Sunday  The family of renowned international evangelist and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, has officially announced his passing.  According to a statement released on Monday, signed by the family and titled “Glorious Transition,” Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai passed on to glory on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80.  The family described him as “a faithful soldier of the cross” who dedicated over six decades of his life to fiery evangelism, dynamic teaching of the Word, and prophetic demonstrations of the power of God.    The statement added that his ministry impacted millions of lives and transformed destinies both within Nigeria and around the world.    The statement reads below: “With hearts full of gratitude, we celebrate the triumphant homegoing of Rev.
