The 2025 edition of the annual “Glorious Month Convention” of Christ Followers Evangelical Ministry, also known as New Glory, commenced today, Monday, September 1, 2025, at the church auditorium located at Ilugusi Estate along Ojo Ekun Road, Odo-Ona Elewe, Ibadan. The month-long spiritual gathering, which runs from September 1 to October 1 every year, is renowned for its three major sessions; Morning Prayers, Fire Revival, and Powerful Vigil, designed to uplift worshippers spiritually and morally. This year’s theme is “Divine Restoration” (Idapada S’ipo) drawn from Joel 2:25.

The opening session witnessed a packed auditorium as Lady Evangelist Bosede Jemiyo led the congregation in heartfelt praise and worship. Members danced joyfully as hymns 662 and 397 from the CAC hymn book were rendered with vibrant melodies. Expressing gratitude, worshippers thanked God for sparing their lives and families to witness another edition of the convention. According to the founder, Prophetess Esther Oluwakemi Adebayo Adonai JP, the convention has consistently brought spiritual, economic, and physical transformation to participants over the years.

Speaking during a brief prayer session, Prophetess Adebayo said, “We thank God for what He has used this convention to achieve in the lives of people since inception. Many of our members have relocated abroad with their families, and those in Nigeria are making progress in their chosen fields. Their children are also recording success and promotion in education and career.” She assured that the church had prepared spiritually, emotionally, and physically for this year’s event through days of prayers and fasting.

The founder further charged the congregation to remain steadfast in their faith and diligent in their service to God. “I encourage every member to work faithfully in the vineyard and stay focused in whatever they choose to do. God rewards those who diligently serve Him,” she added, urging members of the public to attend the ongoing convention for divine encounter.

Other anointed ministers expected to minister during the programme include Prophet Samuel Jesuyinka, Prophet Olufemi Oni, Pastor Daniel Babatund, Pastor Gbenga Olaleye, and Lady Evangelist Yemi David of “Lati Abule” fame. They will be handling various assignments such as song ministration, deliverance, teaching, and healing throughout the sessions. The convention is anticipated to draw worshippers from different parts of the country seeking spiritual renewal and divine restoration.
